THE RISE OF BHAT-BHATENI IN NEPAL

 The starting of Bhatbhateni was from Bhat-Bhateni cold store. But in 2047BS, the store was broken into fire. The founder of Bhat-bhateni Min Bahadur Gurung, used to work in Nepal bank ltd.earlier but after that he made up a plan with his wife Sabitri Kale Gurung to open up a business of cold store. Their first investment was upto only Rs 35000 NPR. And now the company earns 6,500,000 of profit per day.

After he lost his cold store, they planned to start up it again and established the first Bhat-bhateni super market in the area of 3000 sq.m.with the investment of 25 lakhs.The store started t make profit of 50000 per day. Nearly till 2060 BS the store was revolutionized till 5 storeys and 200 members. Then after the new super market was established in Maharajgunj in 2064BS. Till now there are more than 23 branches of this super market.

What a common people need to buy the goods are : The store keeping all the goods, the employee members should be respectful and delightful, the store should be clean, the goods should not cost too expensive, the quality of the goods should be nice, and there should be no any kind of tension.
The Bhat-bhateni also worked on the same requirements of the customers with the technique of 'Hypermarket'. 

The needed components to the members of the market to behave respectfully were also fulfilled by Bhat-bhateni with : Reward and recognition, development, work life balance, leadership, and working environment.

Hypermarket strategy means instead of giving more discount and lee goods, it provides less discount and more goods. Also when we enter the market, they give us a cart so that if we have come to buy only one or two things, if we see our cart empty then we will to buy the more items.We also don't see clock in Supermarkets so that if we are appointed to go anywhere , we spend more time in The market instead of going to our appointed places. The attractive goods are place before the essential goods in our daily life so that if we go to buy that essential good we have to go through those attractive items. The items like chocolates, biscuits are kept at low to ground level so that the kids could reach their hand to get them.


Bhat-Bhateni also gets involved in Cases sometimes but wraps out from that from their technique and laws.
